ar Health
At AR Health, we understand the crucial role high-quality, comprehensive primary care plays in the lives of individuals living with HIV and members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. To improve access to patient-centered and holistic care, we have opened a healthcare clinic that provides primary and preventive care services to these populations. Our culturally competent and compassionate doctor delivers personalized, patient-centered care without discrimination based on HIV status, sexual orientation, and gender identity or expression. Healthcare services will be offered in conjunction with behavioral risk reduction counseling and HIV medical case management. By eliminating the stigma, bias, and discrimination often associated with HIV and the LGBTQIA2S+ community, we provide culturally sensitive and affirming care.
Holistic care
At AR Health, we are committed to fulfilling the needs of our patients. Our team offers social support through case management services, healthcare coordination, assistance with health insurance coverage, and more. Our aim is to address social determinants of health and strive towards achieving health equity.
Need a lift
AR Health understands the importance of attending medical appointments and is committed to ensuring you never miss one due to transportation issues. If you need assistance with transportation to attend your AR Health appointment, do not hesitate to let us know. Our team is here to handle the transportation logistics, allowing you to focus on your well-being.
Translation
AR Health recognizes that effective communication is essential for delivering high-quality care. We provide free language interpretation services to patients whose primary language is not English and for American Sign Language (ASL). Simply let us know if you need this service.
Free
Menstruation is a natural part of life, and everyone deserves access to essential menstrual hygiene products without the burden of cost. That is why we are thrilled to offer free pads and tampons to Pennsylvania residents. Visit either of our offices, and you can receive two packages of menstrual products every three months, completely free of charge.
A generous grant from the Family Health Council of Central Pennsylvania proudly supports this initiative. Together, we are making menstrual equity a reality.
